• No Image Storage: We never store, save, or transmit any photos or videos captured during smile detection.

Face Data

KeepSmilin' uses Apple's Vision framework to detect smiles. Here is exactly how we handle face data:

• What We Collect: Facial landmark coordinates (lip points and eye points) are analyzed in real-time to detect genuine smiles.
• How We Use It: Face data is used exclusively to determine if you are smiling during an active smile session.
• Storage: Face data is never stored. Facial landmarks exist only in device memory during camera frames and are immediately discarded.
• Retention: Zero retention. Face data does not persist beyond the current camera frame.
• Third-Party Sharing: Face data is never shared with any third parties. All processing happens on-device.

Data We Store Locally

KeepSmilin' stores minimal data on your device to track your progress:

• Smile Count: The total number of successful smile sessions you've completed.
• Streak Information: Your current streak and maximum streak of daily smiles.
• App Settings: Your preferences for notifications and haptic feedback.

This data is stored securely in your device's local storage using Apple's UserDefaults system and is only used to provide app functionality like tracking your progress and maintaining your streak.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information stored on your device solely to:

• Track your smile progress and streaks
• Display your smile statistics and achievements
• Send you reminder notifications (if enabled)

Website Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our site. This information is processed in a way that does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
